Debate Instructors
Ayush Tripathi
Ayush is a rising senior at Westwood High School. He has qualified for both the TOC and TFA. He enjoyed success at high-level national and state level tournaments. Outside of debate, he enjoys gaming and teaching.
Eric Gong
Eric is a rising junior at Westwood High School. He has qualified for the TFA state tournament and achieved success in both state and national tournaments. Outside of debate he enjoys gaming and listening to music.
Kate Ren
Kate is a rising senior at Westwood High School. She has experienced massive success both champ-ing, and making it to the elimination rounds of multiple national tournaments. She is very excited to teach at the ADI this summer.
Pranav Balakrishnan
Pranav is a rising junior at Westwood High School. He has qualified to the TOC and TFA state tournaments and will be a novice coordinator for 2023. Outside of debate, he enjoys listening to music, playing tennis, and loves video games.
Aanya Ujjval
Aanya is a rising sophomore at Westwood High School. She has qualified to the TFA state tournament and has had massive success at multiple state and national tournaments. She looks forward to teaching this summer.
Robert Ou
Robert is a rising senior at Westwood High School. He has qualified for both the TOC and TFA and has achieved success at both national and state tournaments. Outside of debate, he enjoys mentoring, playing chess, and gaming.
Eric Zhu
Eric Zhu is a rising senior at Westwood High School. He has competed at both the state and national level at such prestigious tournaments such as the Bill Tate forum, the TFA, and the TOC. Outside of debate he enjoys business management and gaming.
Vivaan Shah
Vivaan is a rising senior at Westwood High School. He has competed at both the state and national level and has enjoyed success at all levels of Debate. In his free time, Vivaan likes to compete internationally in interpersonal cooperation and management.

Landon Illey
Landon is an rising junior at Westwood High School. He has achieved great competitive success at national tournaments and is Westwood's Public Forum Rising star. He loves mentoring students, and is looking forward to teaching at ADI this summer.
Zuhair Amin
Zuhair is a rising sophomore at Westwood High School. He has reached the elimination rounds of many state and national tournaments. He loves debating and is very excited to teach this summer.
Shaurya Shah
Shaurya is a rising sophomore at Westwood High School. He has broken to the semis/octos in multiple tournaments in his novice debate year. Shaurya enjoys to play basketball, video games, and have fun with his friends. He looks forward to teaching this summer.
Ian Shone
Ian Shone is a rising junior at Westwood High School. He has regularly achieved competitive success at national tournaments. He has qualified to the TOC and the TFA. Outside of debate, he enjoys playing video games, volunteering, and playing sports.
